Kamla's Health Tips
If you want to be healthy and maintain that health-fitness and nutrition are paramount; one CANNOT exist without the other.
Tip #1
You are NOT going to promote a healthy lifestyle chomping down on the typical American diet. The typical American diet is a diet filled with high salt, high sugar and artery clogging components that only make the medical industry richer each time they have to prescribe medications to you, AFTER the damage has already been done.
Tip #2
If you want to reduce body fat you are going to have to engage in a lifestyle of proper nutritional habits, cardiovascular and weight training, and enough stretching so that you will be less susceptible to injury. It is also important that you do not think of exercise as a chore, but rather that something that will make you feel better about yourself.
Tip #3
Do not skip breakfast (because your body will send a message to your brain telling it that you are starving it, and then it will slow down your metabolism).
Tip #4
Eat 5-6 times a day, small meals at least 2-3 hours apart to enable for your metabolism to burn more efficiently.
Tip #5
Drink at least eight 8-ounce cups of water daily, and a few cups more if you are exercising. If you deprive yourself of enough water, your skin will feel the effects more than any other organ. If you want to keep those muscles and skin toned, you need to drink enough water.
Tip #6
Do not drink alcohol, smoke or do drugs. What is the point? It is self- destructive behavior.
Tip #7
Detoxify yourself with colonic irrigations and juice therapy.
Tip #8
Invest in a fitness and nutrition journal and then keep track of your progress in the journal.
Tip #9
Don't forget to wear sunscreen to protect your skin from the sun's elements. Regardless of your ethnic background...everyone benefits from wearing sunscreen.
Tip #10
The more fruits and vegetables that you eat, (in their raw state-preferably), the more energy you will have, the healthier you will look and feel. Living food for a living body.
